What if smell could be used as a way of attuning to weather – not only as a memory, but as a tool for sensing change and imagining futures?
In this workshop, we open up an imaginative space where smell is used to think about weather conditions and climate futures. Through practices of attunement, speculation, and negotiation, participants will work with olfactory prompts and shared materials to explore how weather is sensed, remembered, and anticipated.
The workshop culminates in the collective creation of tangible traces of these imagined futures, which will be brought together into a shared form for reflection and exchange.
